As sandals go, Ren is a strong one. Inspired by steel-capped workboots, her sharp-cornered rubber toe-caps extend far beyond the welt of the outsole for an assertive statement finish. The ultra-thin curved heel stands in opposition to this angularity, sitting just below a rear loop with contrast edging. Ren's straps are formed from two-tone leather – tumbled burgundy on the outer with a smooth bright blue inner. The same bright blue finish is applied to the breathable vegetable tan cow leather insole, and to the rubber toe and heel caps protecting the leather sole.
